I know it has been said, but not being a fan, I must say this performance and her singing was incredible. I must come back many times to enjoy her singing. The movie in my mind was also an incredible event and I wonder why the critics played it down. Hollywood is such a false world with clicks that are unbreakable.

Madonna was born to play this wonderful song. Do you know the story when the Argentina President denied Alan Parker to shoot the famous scene on Evita’s balcony, Madonna went herself, dressed as Evita to ask permission.
My grandmother remembers Evita as a great role model for ALL the women of the world. We live in South America and the singer is fondly remembered to this day. cheers everyone – cheers Notationiq.
One of my ultimate favorite movies! I’ve probably watched it a 100 times! You did a great job composing the notes. I wish she would put the Miami Mix Edit out on iTunes for purchase and here on Notationiq! It’s such a great version! I’m surprised she hasn’t put that out yet and surprised the fans haven’t done a justice for Evita Soundtrack like they did with Bedtime Stories. The EVITA movie and soundtrack are extremely highly underrated and deserve far better recognition. It’s one of the great movie musicals and should be credited with bring film musicals back.
